REGIONAL — Prime Timers was founded globally in 1987 by retired professor Woody Baldwin in Boston. Since its birth it has grown to over 73 chapters worldwide spanning North America, Europe, Israel and Australia.
Members consist of older gay and bisexual men plus younger ones who admire the mature man. It is part of a world-wide organization that touts volunteerism, as well as activities in the political, activism, arts, entertainment arenas and more. Each person plays an active role in community involvement. Because members are predominately in the fall of their years, they may be retired or may still be working. They may be businessmen or entrepreneurs.
The Carolinas sports three chapters, one in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, one in Charlotte (see goqnotes-launch2.newspackstaging.com/2282/primetimers-at-16/) and another in South Carolina on the Grand Strand. For more information, contact one of these groups listed below:
