ASHEVILLE , N.C. — Rainbow Wedding Network (RWN), a leader in the U.S. LGBT nuptials industry, has announced it’s first nationally distributed Wedding Planning Guide through its quarterly publication, Rainbow Wedding Network Magazine.
“The interactive glossy offers unique insights from experienced event planners and other wedding professionals, as well as legislative highlights and bright imagery from gay and lesbian celebrations held throughout the country,” the Network reports.
This compilation is chocked full of everything couples need to know to make their big day a real success. Frank J. Andonoplas and Bernadette
Coveney Smith, renowned event planners, were interviewed along with a host of other same-sex couple’s content resources.
The Guide also includes Regional Quick Facts to assist in understanding various legals options across the U.S. and Canada.
The quarterly, which features articles from professionals, officiants and others, started in and is currently distributed by Ingram Periodicals. It is available both in print and online. Formatting for Kindle, iPad and iPhone are forthcoming. Subscriptions are $29.99 per year. Online only subscriptions are $9.95.
RWN began in 2000 by Marianne Puechl and Cindy Sproul. It hosted its first LBGT Wedding Expo in Minneapolis in 2003. Since then over 35 events have taken place in 17 states. They have planned 12 this year through their “Same Love, Same Rights” initiative which seeks to combat anti-marriage proponents. Their website says: “Our mission is to bring a higher level of true cohesiveness to the LGBT community, as well as a renewed sense of legitimization concerning our vision for equal rights in marriage and in creating and protecting our families.”
