Film Fest Plaza Party

The North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and LGBT Center of Raleigh team up to present the festival’s official 2010 NCGLFF Plaza Party, with music, food and drinks. Proceeds benefit the festival and LGBT Center. Space is limited. 309 W. Morgan St. 8 p.m. $10/advance. $13/door.

Men of Petra’s

Men of Petra’s Amateur Drag Competition announces our first four contestants: Chris Baker as “Sharie Kewlaid,” Tommy Feldman as “Miley Virus,” Jay Russell as “Vivian Russell” and Robert Sease as “Trebora.” Your votes decide which two “ladies” get passed on to the Top 8.
