RALEIGH — The Triangle Community Works Helpline has a new number — 919-747-4123.

They are also looking for volunteers to staff the line, if even for a three-hour shift once a month.

The next training will be held on May 14, 6:30-9:30 p.m. and May 15, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

King’s in the Cradle

CARRBORO — The Triangle Professional Lesbians are having a Meet-Up event at Cat’s Cradle, 300 E. Main St.

On stage that evening will be vocalist Kaki King. She plays solo guitar and her noted album releases include “Legs to Make Us Longer” and “Dreaming of Revenge.”

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m.

Tickets are $15.
