Amy takes the stage
CARRBORO — Indigo Girls’ Amy Ray will take to the stage on Nov. 12 at Cat’s Cradle, 300 E. Main St., at 8:30 p.m.
Since her first solo album “Stag” was released in 2001, Ray has been touring both solo and with Indigo Girls’ with Emily Sailers, playing gigs across the nation. The Georgia native attended Vanderbilt University and graduated from Emory University in 1986.
She founded her own indie record label, Daemon Records, in 1990.
Ray is an avid gay rights activist, as well as takes a stand on other social and political causes.
Tickets are $12 advance/$15 at the door.
