Last year’s popular “BRIEF! A Fete for Fashion” is making a comeback this year. The brainchild of Dan Mauney, the underwear fashion show benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation highlighting the hottest looks and trends by Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Mundo Unico and Pistol Pete set on a New York style runway.
The event, featuring 25 of the area’s hottest male models, will be held on Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at Extravaganza Depot, 1610 N. Tryon St. The new Men of BRIEF! 2011 Calendar will be on sale the night of the event.
Sponsors include 96.1 The Beat, Absolut, Patron, Makers Mark, Sloan Boutique and Takeover Friday. 100 percent of all proceeds go to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Ticket prices are $25 for standing room and cash bar, $50 for seated tickets and cash bar and $150 for VIP seating at cabaret-style tables with open bar.
