Charlotte is gearing up for a spectacular Pride festival this year. A recent move to S. Tryon St., among other developments, are sure to make for a dynamic week of celebration. But the work is just getting started and event organizers need the local LGBT and ally communities to speak up!
From the Pride Charlotte website:
Pride Charlotte organizers are asking community members: “What do you want to see?” Bring your suggestions and questions! Learn more about this year’s festival and other events and be a part of shaping its success!
The Pride Charlotte committee is hosting a roundtable this Thursday, March 31, at the Lesbian & Gay Community Center to hear feedback and gather ideas from our creative local LGBT community. Have opinions, questions, or visions for this year’s Pride festival? This is a perfect opportunity to have your voices heard and converse with the committee organizers first hand.
The Lesbian & Gay Community Center of Charlotte is located at the NC Music Factory at 820 Hamilton St., Suite B11 Charlotte, NC 28206. For more information, visit pridecharlotte.com.
