CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A national diversity organization and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte will team up to present a day-long conference on Thursday discussing LGBT inclusion in the workplace and diversity within the greater community.
The Charlotte LGBT & Allies Diversity Summit is slated for UNC-Charlotte’s Cone University Center, Thursday, June 19, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Registration is still open for the event, which costs $49 ($24 students) for the “What Works in the Workplace” track and $25 (free for students) for the “Understanding our Communities” track.
The conference is being sponsored by Walmart, Snyder’s-Lance, Charlotte Business Guild, Aerotek, Carolinas HealthCare System, among others.
