UPDATE: This event has been cancelled due to not securing the 20 RSVPs necessary to run the event. Organizers have said that they would reschedule it for the near future.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A fundraiser for Metropolitan Community Church of Winston-Salem (MCCWS) on Oct. 20, 5 p.m., at Jason’s Deli, 1005 Hanes Mall Blvd.
Participants are requested to RSVP by Oct. 17 as the church needs to have 20 RSVPs to secure the event and space. Upon arrival, let the cashier know that you are with the MCCWS party.
When you purchase your meal, simply drop your receipt in the GroupRaise.com donation box at the restaurant, and 15 percent of your meal will be donated back to MCCWS.
The effort will help to support the ministries of the church.
