Shiprocked Birthday and Sandy relief party
Shiprocked, the weekly Snug Harbor party for Charlotte’s punk and hipster queer folk, rocks out for organizer Scott Weaver’s birthday while partying for a good cause. Donations at the door ($2 minimum requested) will benefit Sandy relief projects run by Occupy Sandy, a group providing local assistance to those affected by hurricane damage in New York. Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte: “The Last Big Gay Christmas Ever”
Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte presents its annual winter concert in preparation for the end of the world as calendars count down to Dec. 21 and the end of the Mayan calendar. (and, an encore performance on Saturday here).
