A tour exploring the need to repeal a discriminatory, anti-gay military policy comes to Charlotte next week.
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Servicemembers United will present the Charlotte stop of the “Voices of Honor Tour” on August 5, 6 p.m., in the Francis Auditorium of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Main Library, 310 North Tryon St.
The panel will include gay, lesbian and straight veterans who have served under the U.S. Military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, including: Jarrod Chlaposki, a former Korean linguist in the U.S. Army; Alex Nicholson, a former Human Intelligence Collector for the U.S. Army; and others.
