CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Members of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Athletic Department have released a video for the national You Can Play Project, a Denver, Colo.-based organization working to raise awareness of LGBT inclusion in athletics.

Chapel Hill’s video includes student athletes from the school’s basketball, football, gymnastics, golf, swimming and other sports teams. In it, students and staff tell all athletes, “If you can play, you can play.”

The video release follows a similar video released by student athletes at Duke University earlier this year and two other videos made by professional hockey teams in Charlotte and Raleigh.
