VIDEO: California pastor praises N.C. preacher who called for gay concentration camps

Truth Wins Out, a national LGBT advocacy group that raises awareness on anti-LGBT religious discrimination and “ex-gay” “therapy,” is highlighting a portion of a California pastor’s sermon on homosexuality in which the man praises a North Carolina pastor who called for all gays and lesbians to be sent to concentration camps.

The video is a portion of North Valley Baptist Church Pastor Tony Hutson’s sermon at his church’s Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference in Santa Clara, Calif.

“A man stands up against sin, his own brethren will crucify him. Long live, Charles Worley at the Providnce Road Baptist Church of Maiden, N.C. which stands against sodomites,” Hutson says.

Worley made national headlines last year when he told his congregation that gays and lesbians should be confined behind an electrified fence.

“Build a great big, large fence — 50 or a 100 miles long — and put all the lesbians in there,” Worley said. Fly over and drop some food. Do the same thing with the queers and the homosexuals — and have that fence electrified so they can’t get out. Feed ‘em. And you know in a few years, they’ll die out. You know why? They can’t reproduce.”

Many compared Worley’s idea to Nazi-style concentration camps. As many as 1,600 traveled to Worley’s rural town to protest his remarks. It was later revealed Worley had spoken about hanging gay people in a 1978 sermon.

Hutson continues his anti-gay sermon, mimicking a feminine gay man, saying the colors blue and pink should be reserved for their traditional male and female roles and saying he’s never seen a “rainbow crib for the little sodomite baby.”

Truth Wins Out is also promoting the NALT, or “Not All Like That,” Christians Project.
