The Triangle Black Pride organizers are full with excitement as they gear up for their first official event. On Thursday, July 29, participants can pick up a welcome packet and guide at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. A welcome cocktail reception will also be held Friday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, July 30, the Board will host six free workshops and seminars on various topics.
The Inaugural Triangle Black Pride is only a little over two months away. Organizers have worked extremely hard to make the community’s first festival one to remember. They are asking community members to show their support by donating toward a great cause. They say even a $5donation can go a long way.
