WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem Unitarian-Universalist congregation and its LGBT group Interweave will host a potluck and panel discussion on safe schools, LGBT youth and the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System on Friday, June 20.

The event will take place at the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship of Winston-Salem, 4055 Robinhood Rd. The potluck and social begins at 6:30 p.m., with the discussion starting at 7 p.m.

Community advocate and statewide respected leader Janet Joyner will join LGBT youth and Q-Notes Editor Matt Comer, a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem, for the discussion. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System Superintendent Don Martin will attend.
