SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Upstate Pride SC has announced that it has selected Barnett Park, 298 Magnolia St., to be its venue for the march and festival slated for June 4, 2011.

Theme for the festival will be P.R.I.D.E. — Promoting Respect Individuality Diversity Equality.

The 2010 event netted about 2,000 and was largely successful due in part to Mayor Junie White.
