Rev. Franklin Graham is up to his usual homophobic ranting ways. This time he calls gay Christians the enemy, claiming they want to devour homes and indeed the entire nation.

Graham made the comments during an appearance on Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk radio show earlier this week, on Jan. 19.

“We have allowed the enemy to come into our churches,” Graham said. “I was talking to some Christians and they were talking about how they invited these gay children to come into their home and to come into the church, and that they were wanting to influence them.

“And I thought to myself, they’re not going to influence those kids. Those kids are going to influence  those parents’ children.

“And what happens is we think we can fight by smiling and being real nice and loving. We have to understand who the enemy is, and what he wants to do – devour our homes. He wants to devour this nation. And we have to be so careful who we let our kids hang out with. We have to be so careful who we let into the churches. You have immoral people who get into churches and it begins to affect the others in the church, and it is dangerous.”

Graham also spoke against universities teaching that homosexuality is “taught to be okay” with “all these diversity classes.”

Don’t worry, though, gays, he doesn’t want to bash. If you love Jesus and stop being gay, according to Graham, you can still get into heaven.

“But you cannot stay gay and call yourself a Christian,” Graham said.

Dobson, who is the founder of the conservative Christian organization Focus on the Family, comes in at the end with a fun fact about bisexuals. Apparently it is all about the orgies.

“LGBT. You know what the “B” stands for?” Dobson asked, before providing the answer, “Bisexual. That’s orgies! That is lots of sex with lots of people.”

  1. Franklin Graham is so filled with hate for anyone he decides is not to his liking . What would Jesus say Franklin cause He doesn’t make mistakes and you Are criticizing his work.

    1. Read from the Bible Romans 1:26-26. Then read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Franklin Graham did not write the Bible. He is only interpreting it.

  2. It’s a pretty good indicator that you’ve created god in your own image when god hates all the same people you do.,

  3. “We have much to say about this, but it is HARD TO MAKE IT CLEAR to you because YOU NO LONGER TRY to understand. / In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! / Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. / But solid food is for the MATURE, who by CONSTANT USE have TRAINED THEMSELVES to DISTINGUISH (SEPARATE and DISCERN) good from evil.” – Hebrews 5:11-14 Maybe it’s not him attempting to bash any particular group of sinners; maybe it’s because God Himself separates good from evil and we get offended because we take it personally.

    1. No, Brandi, it’s Franklin Graham NOT God! [Bashing LGBT people, not a “particular group of sinners”. One could just as easily call LGBTs a “particular group of saints” . . . unless your head is twisted by hate, as is FGraham’s.]

  4. As a Christian Pastor who happens to be gay of course these remaks sadden me. However I think if we are the enemy at all we are the enemy of the prevailing fundmentalist boys club that is the failing mainstream american chuch. We are enemies of their exclusive power structure and subsequently a kink in the flow of dollars as undoubtedly at the leading of the Holy Spirit those who desire to follow Christ are finding better examples of Christianity among the LGBT community and APART from this kind of anti-christ rhetoric and biblical illiteracy.
