RENO, Nev. — Michael J. Doane, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Nevada at Reno is conducting a survey for his dissertation on the experiences of sexual minorities. The survey intends to understand experiences as a gay or bisexual man or woman, including perceptions of discrimination and prejudice (if any) against individuals as a sexual minority, as well as aspects of social relationships, health and happiness.

Participants can provide an email address to be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win a $20 e-gift card to popular stores (e.g., Target, Walmart, or Starbucks) or to donate winnings to the Human Rights Campaign. Additionally, participants can be considered for a chance to complete a follow-up survey and earn between $5 and $20.
