CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A who’s who of LGBT and LGBT-friendly politicians, party leaders and other special guests gathered at the last LGBT caucus of the 2012 Democratic National Convention on Thursday. Outgoing Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank was also honored for his decades of service. Other speakers included Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, U.S. Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota, Newark, N.J., Mayor Cory Booker. Obama campaign staffer Jamie Citron was also honored. Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin, National Gay & Lesbian Task Force Executive Director Rea Carey, Virginia state Sen. Adam Ebbin and White House Social Director Jeremy Bernard were also recognized.

  1. Thank God Frank will be gone. Next Pilosi (it was predicted that she would be a problem after she took control).
