“From my queerness to my Brazilian identity to the vegetarian diet that started as a New Year’s Resolution, I’ve written about all of it.” Julianna Peres started storytelling before she could even speak. She feels that every single writer and performer is capable of bringing something new to the table.

She is a recent graduate of UNC Charlotte, where she studied Japanese and Religious Studies, with a minor in Women’s Studies, International Relations and Psychology. She has written for Charlotte Pride Magazine and the UNC Charlotte Niner Times. Julianna previously covered breaking news for Qnotes and regular features on local nonprofit organizations.
