After the Senate’s vote on the Defense Authorization bill yesterday (and, by extension, the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”), The Advocate‘s Kerry Eleveld and Metro Weekly‘s Chris Geidner got the opportunity to speak with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). McCain immediately goes on the defense when reporters suggest the military isn’t following DADT to the letter of the law. (via ThinkProgress)

ThinkProgress also wraps up one DADT-discharged veteran’s appearance on Rachel Maddow’s show. Despite McCain’s assurances to the contrary, this veteran was booted after the military snooped through his private communication.
