CHARLOTTE, N.C.  — A local LGBT organization devoted to developing small businesses and professionals will celebrate its 22nd anniversary on Tuesday with a special dinner featuring several local officials and dignitaries, including keynote speaker Tom Murray, CEO of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.
The Charlotte Business Guild, founded in 1992, will hold its anniversary event at the VanLandingham Estate in Plaza Midwood. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
According to organizers, other local officials expected to attend include Charlotte Mayor Dan Clodfelter, Charlotte City Councilmembers LaWana Mayfield and Al Alston and Mecklenburg County Commissioners Trevor Fuller and Pat Cotham.
