CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several fundraising events scatter the Queen City’s autumn social calendar in the next few weeks, each raising money for local LGBT causes.

Tickets have been on sale for the LGBT Community Center’s new Autumn Jubilee, set for Oct. 12. For $50, guests will be treated to dinner, music and remarks from Mayor Patsy Kinsey and Christopher J. Carmichael, a senior vice president of Fifth Third Bank. Former center chair Denise Palm-Beck and qnotes publisher Jim Yarbrough will be inducted into the group’s Ambassador’s Circle. Brief! A Fete for Fashion makes its annual return to Charlotte on Nov. 1, featuring men’s underwear fashion. The event has raised $50,000 for charities over five years and will benefit Time Out Youth and the Human Rights Campaign this year. Tickets range from $35 to $125. The black-tie Haunted Hollywood event benefiting Time Out Youth will be held at the Mint Museum Uptown on Nov. 2, with special guest host Brandi Glanville of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Tickets are $65 or $250 for VIP and can be purchased at the Time Out Youth offices, 1900 The Plaza, at Brief, 1426 S. Tryon St., or by mail.
Also on Nov. 2, the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network will host the finale fundraising party for its annual Dining with Friends. A minimum $30 donation is requested at the door.
