SUMMER ARTS Camp: Collaging Your World

Kids and teens, piece together a story through unique imagery! In this virtual camp led by Charlotte-based artist Carla Aaron-Lopez, 11 to 16 year-old students will create their own bodies of work to tell personal stories through the medium of collage. They will learn about collaging as an imaginative art by connecting images that would not normally fit together, while getting to know the history of mixed media artists and local artists working in the same creative space. Artwork created during the week will be shown in a virtual Artwork Showcase on the last day of class.

All supplies for the week will be provided in the camp art box. Delivery to Mecklenburg and Gaston counties are included in the camp cost. If you are outside these counties, you will be contacted to pay a $15 shipping fee.

The event is finished.
