2024 Mimosa Party
The 2024 Mimosa party is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024 with new beneficiaries Carolina Breast Friends and Samaritan House.
The Mimosa Party, now in its 15th year, is sponsored by Hydration Station Foundation. This annual fundraiser is currently recruiting party hosts for the 2024 event. “Party hosts are the key to the success and fun of this event and it is so easy.” Said Jason Boone, event founder. “Just go on our website and sign up to host a party. We deliver the supplies to your house and you throw a party and help us fundraise. All parties are encouraged to be on Saturday, April 27th. Hydration Station Foundation will provide each host with a party pack- that includes six bottles of champagne, orange juice, cups and deliver to your home, more champagne can be added for larger parties.”
Party hosts simply invite friends over for mimosa asking them to make a contribution to Hydration Station Foundation to benefit Carolina Breast Friends and Samaritan House. Carolina Breast Friends embraces the breast cancer community in a positive environment providing resources and education through fellowship and mentoring during any stage of the journey. Samaritan House is a short-term medical respite for the homeless in Mecklenburg County with 10% of clients entering the respite with a cancer diagnosis.
What started as a couple of folks standing in a front yard drinking mimosas in 2009 has blossomed over the years. Since 2020, we have been able to donate approximately $300,000 to Charlotte area non-profits, to continue their critical missions.
