The Point Foundation’s scholarship season is open for applicants.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Point Foundation’s 2017-18 scholarship applications are now open and are due for submission by Jan. 30.

The annual awards will be bestowed on April 20-22 in California.

Eligibility includes: enrollment or intension of enrollment at an accredited college or university based in the U.S. for the fall of 2017; identification as an out member of the LGBTQ community; full-time enrollment for the entire academic year; degree-granting undergraduate or graduate/doctoral program enrollment; transfer from a community college to a four-year college or university; high school senior minimum; proven track record of leadership and community involvement; strong academic achievement; active work for the betterment of the LGBTQ community; and shown financial need.
