Inclusion app launched
RALEIGH, N.C./SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Stan Kimer, president of Total Engagement Consulting by Kimer, and Darren Noy, CEO of Kannetic, launched a new cloud-based application on Feb. 22 to assist businesses and organizations to better plan and execute their LGBTQ diversity initiatives.
The Kannetic LGBT Inclusion Builder Solution is based on Kannetic’s collaborative social technology which enables teams to collaborate online to evaluate, prioritize and then track progress around particular business initiatives. This latest solution focuses on the hot and continually growing area of LGBTQ diversity, the partners shared.
They added that the LGBT Inclusion Builder solution helps Human Resource practitioners, LGBTQ Employee Resource Groups, Diversity Councils and any other LGBTQ affinity groups collaboratively prioritize and plan actions they can take to enhance their company’s inclusion and support of the LGBTQ community. The LGBT Inclusion Builder can be used as a planning tool for a small group of LGBTQ employee leaders, or as a tool to rapidly engage the perspective of a large group of employees across a company.

Festival planning underway
RALEIGH, N.C. — Out! Raleigh has begun its planning for the seventh annual festival which will be held on May 6.
This inclusive and action-packed event is family friendly, with activities for all ages. Funds raised from Out! Raleigh go toward supporting the LGBT Center of Raleigh and all of its 20 plus community programs.
Organizers are now accepting applications for vendor space, sponsorship and guide advertising.
In other news, the center’s community calendar lists the following events in the Triangle during March: March 18, 7 p.m., Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina Beyonce Drag Bingo, Durham Armory, 220 Foster St., Durham, N.C.; March 19, 11:30 a.m., Crape Myrtle Festival, A Character Drag Brunch, Solas Raleigh, 419 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, N.C.; and March 26, 3 p.m., North Carolina State University Singing Statesmen and University of North Carolina Men’s Glee Club concert, hosted by Vox Virorum Men’s Chorus of the Triangle, First Presbyterian Church, 305 E. Main St., Durham N.C.
