Today, I want to highlight a recent development on the 2024 campaign trail: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was selected as Kamala Harris’s running mate this past Monday. His pro-LGBTQ+ record spans decades, and gives Harris a new, much needed ally, and brings suburban-and-rural appeal and positive, progressive patriotism not previously present in the competition.
