Amid a busy holiday season, national political turmoil and continuing controversy in our own community, life goes on.
In our latest edition of Q Weekly, we offer more and new ways to enjoy this time of year, and we provide news and additional entertainment.
Kicking off our newsletter is an interview with legendary Queer comic performer Lea Delaria and a look at the new book “A Little Queer Natural History.”
In national news, speaker of the House Mike Johnson has banned transgender women from using women’s restrooms in the House of Representatives.
On the local front, Mecklenburg County Democratic chairperson Drew Kromer has been asked to resign, amid accusations of staff mistreatment and financial mismanagement.
