CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Famed British-born neuroscientist Simon LeVay will deliver a short lecture and stick around for questions and answers a post-lecture reception on Monday at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Perhaps best known for his studies on the human brain, human sexuality and homosexuality, LeVay also recently published a 2010 book, “Gay, Straight, and the Reason Why: The Science of Sexual Orientation.” LeVay is also known for his work in other fields of biology.
LeVay will speak on the campus of UNC-Charlotte on Monday, Sept. 24, 5-7 p.m. in Room 200 of the Student Union building. The lecture and reception are presented by the UNC-Charlotte chapter of Out in Science, Technology, Engineering (oSTEM), a national LGBT organization supporting students of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
