Join The Plus Collective at their new annual event, “THE CELEBRATION”

The Plus Collective has announced the return of its much-anticipated annual event, re-envisioned as “The Celebration.” The Plus Collective is a collective giving and endowment fund of Foundation For The Carolinas and one of the largest funders of LGBTQ+ organizations and programs in North Carolina.

In years past, The Plus Collective met with stakeholders, community members, and corporate sponsors in Uptown Charlotte with its luncheon, “The Happening.” The return of the annual event in 2022, after a two year hiatus on account of COVID, marks a change in both venue and time, a purposeful move to make it more accessible to everyone in the Charlotte LGBTQ+ community.

“Our shift from the Charlotte Lesbian and Gay Fund to The Plus Collective was a way for us to emphasize the inclusive nature of the organization and lean into being a resource for the broader LGBTQ+ community in Charlotte,” said Shelly Schoenfeld, Board Chair of The Plus Collective, “Moving to an evening event, as opposed to a luncheon, furthers this mission of inclusivity by ensuring that you don’t just have to be a worker in Uptown Charlotte to attend The Celebration.”

The Celebration will take place at Foundation For The Carolinas on June 9th, 2022 at 6pm. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
