Be A Lion – One Night Only at the Booth Playhouse
BNS Productions brings the beloved musical “Be A Lion” back to Charlotte for one night only on Wednesday, December 10 at 7:30 PM. Written and directed by award-winning playwright Rory D. Sheriff, this audience favorite reimagines what happens after Dorothy returns to Harlem, continuing the story inspired by “The Wiz.”
Featuring unforgettable characters, powerhouse vocals, and a bold Afrocentric score, “Be A Lion” has become a Charlotte tradition that keeps audiences on their feet year after year. The production blends soul, joy, and community in a powerful theatrical experience for all ages.
Attendees can also elevate their evening with the Emerald City VIP Experience beginning at 6:00 PM. VIP guests receive early access, a “Be A Lion” souvenir tote bag and collectible pin, catered refreshments inspired by the world of Oz, access to the Emerald City Selfie Station, and an opportunity to meet the playwright and cast members.
