On July 24, 2010, qnotes will publish its second annual QGuide, with community resources, nightlife establishments, restaurants and coffee shops and other LGBT-friendly businesses in Charlotte, the Triangle, Triad and Columbia.
For our first-ever QGuide last year, published as our LGBT Carolinas Newcomer Guide on July 25, 2009, we pulled together community resources and business listings ourselves. It was the start of something grand! Over the past year, we’ve had dozens of businesses, community groups and other submit their listings in our QGuide. So, this year we’ll pull directly from that list for our QGuide issue on July 24.
What does that mean? Simply, if you’re business or community group isn’t already listed in the QGuide, then it won’t be listed in our July 24 print edition.
How do you remedy that? Again, it’s simple. Check to see if your group or business is listed in the QGuide. (Click here for North Carolina city listings and here for South Carolina city listings.) If you see your listing and it is correct, great. No worries. If not, or if the listing is outdated, then click here to submit or update your business or community group listing today. It is easy and, best of all, free!
New QGuide listings, or updates to existing listings, must be received by next Wednesday, July 14, 3 p.m.
