The Baptist Press is all up in a tizzy over the Prop. 8 trial happening this week in California. (The Bay Area Reporter has more news on the trial.)
From even the headline (“PROP 8: Trial starts that could be ‘gay marriage’ Roe v. Wade”), down to interviews with anti-gay legal folks, BP writer Michael Foust takes a decidedly Chicken Little, “sky is falling” approach to his discussion of the trial.
These folks will do anything to rile people up, I guess. After all, their nice, patriarchal, anti-gay world is crumbling more and more everyday, and less and less folks seem to care.
