Jonathan Golian, a homegrown Charlotte local, has been covering the city for some time. From his earliest work with UNCC’s Niner Times, to having occasional articles and features in CLTure and Queen City Nerve, Golian found his way into journalism by way of entertainment media, and hasn’t looked away since. Through writing, he also found himself in the photography medium, and extensively covering drag entertainment around the Queen City from 2021 to 2023 through visual media.

While writing about LGBTQ+ issues and happenings around Charlotte with QNotes, Golian curates a monthly newsletter, The Network Beat, for the locally-based non-profit Charlotte Gaymers Network. Additionally, he covers independent entertainment for his own website and platform, Reporting From 20XX.
