Postponed: ENC & QNotes: One Charlotte Celebration
UPDATE, March 12, 2020: In light of our ongoing public health crisis, ENC had to make some tough decisions about our upcoming programming and events. In solidarity with the groups most affected by COVID-19, we’ve decided it’s in the best interest of our communities to postpone all events that involve gatherings of individuals or move the conversation to online spaces. We know this will be disappointing for many but our collective health is crucial to transforming the state of North Carolina at the ballot box later this year. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the One Charlotte.
Please join Equality NC and QNotes at our One Charlotte Celebration. One Charlotte will be an opportunity for the LGBTQ community of the Charlotte Metro to hear from community members and elected officials in a flipped forum concept!
Instead of the usual candidate forum, candidates and community members will be given the opportunity to ask
direct questions to a panel of LGBTQ community leaders.
Panelists include:
Frank Dorsey, Associate Director of Student Engagement, Johnson C. Smith University
Paige Dula, President of Genderlines
Ezra Fairley-Collins, Intersectionality Program Manager for Freedom Center for Social Justice
Jessica Hulick, Equality NC Director of Civic Engagement and Politics
Kendra R. Johnson, Equality NC Executive DIrector
Chad Turner, President of Charlotte LGBT Chamber of Commerce
Debbie Warren, Founder and CEO of RAIN

Don’t miss this opportunity to speak with our community leaders face-to-face!
