
Looking for fun and entertainment this weekend? The Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area has plenty of it.
On Saturday, Jan. 23, head over to FLEX for a social and fundraiser for Gay American Heroes, a non-profit working to honor those LGBT folks victimized by anti-gay hate. The party starts at 10 p.m., with special guest Dru Bruin. Check out their Facebook event page for more info.
On Sunday, Jan. 24, head over to Chapel Hill to see high energy, queer singer/songwriter Evan Greer of the Riot Folk! Collective and multimedia puppeteer Geppetta of the Tranny Roadshow and Femme Show. Performance starts at 7 p.m. at the Nightlight, 405 1/2 W. Rosemary St.
Greer and Geppetta make an encore performance in Durham on Monday, Jan. 25, 7 p.m. at Bull City Headquarters, 23 N. Mangum St.
