Rock Hill, South Carolina, is gearing up to celebrate Pride Month on June 22 with the return of its annual Pride Festival to downtown. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and will run until 5 p.m., providing a full day of entertainment, education and celebration for all ages.

Rock Hill is located in York County, which is approximately 25 miles south of Charlotte. Known for its rich history and vibrant community spirit, Rock Hill boasts a unique blend of Southern charm and modern amenities. Additionally, a variety of food trucks will offer delicious cuisine, ranging from traditional Southern fare to international delights. Over 150 vendors will be present at the festival, selling a wide variety of goods and services to patrons. 

In addition to entertainment and delicious eats, the festival will feature informational booths from various nonprofits and advocacy groups, offering resources on health, legal rights, and community support for LGBTQ+ individuals. Workshops and panel discussions on topics such as mental health, inclusivity in the workplace and the history of the LGBTQ+ movement will also be held throughout the day.
