Rye Fellowship Town Hall: Transgender Day of Visibility

In celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility, Equality North Carolina is hosting a Town Hall with four of our past and current Rural Youth Empowerment (RYE) Fellows. Please join us for a conversation about the experiences of young, trans folks navigating COVID-19 and ways the public can support the transgender community at this time.

International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is an annual event occurring on March 31 dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society

The Rural Youth Empowerment (RYE) Fellowship is a year-long mentorship and training program for LGBTQ young people in rural areas of North Carolina. The program supports RYE Fellows to successfully execute a social justice project serving rural communities while developing leadership skills.
