SUMMARY:Queen City Performing Arts Presents ~The Women’s Chorus of Charlotte~ in “Into Fire”
DESCRIPTION:Courage doesn’t always mean being fearless. Sometimes it means recognizing what’s at stake, feeling the heat — and stepping forward anyway.\nJoin the Women’s Chorus of Charlotte for Into Fire, a powerful and wide-ranging concert exploring courage, resilience, and what happens when we choose to act rather than stand by.\nAnd when we say wide-ranging, we mean it.\nFrom the breathtaking intensity of Mozart’s Dies Irae to the irresistible groove of The Trammps’ Disco Inferno, Into Firemoves between the profound and the playful, with music including Joan Szymko’s Malala, Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain, and Burn from Hamilton.\nSome of these songs honor people who have found extraordinary courage when the moment demanded it. Others explore the fires we survive, the ones we start, and the ones that simply make us want to get up and dance.\nAt its heart, Into Fire celebrates the strength we find in ourselves and in one another — and the choice to keep moving forward, even when retreat would be easier.\nPerformances\nFriday, November 6, 2026\n7:30 PM\nSaturday, November 7, 2026\n3:00 PM & 7:30 PM\nThe Galilee Center\n3601 Central Avenue\nCharlotte, NC 28205\n
